I recently shot an alternative wedding for the first time at The Village Barn, and I have to stay - it was an absolute joy! It's a perfect setting for any couple with a preference for a rustic style venue - with its barn, orangery, and landscaped gardens, very vibrant. Notably, The staff were warm, helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious!

From a photography point of view - it hits all the right notes. The ceremony room is beautifully lit and sets the mood and tone for an intimate ceremony. Also, everything is close by, so no need to walk far. Important for elderly guests so that they won't feel any strain.

There's plenty of areas to get couple and family portraits, with prominent places such as the courtyard, the wide-spaced garden, and even inside the dining area. We, photographers, like having a few varied options!

The dining area is stunning; I love how they set the tables up! There's plenty of natural light with its large windows - so it provides a lovely ambience.

All in all - it's a cool space, and I hope this Blog Post helps you if you're considering booking there.
